S & S Motors was started in 1946 by Arne "Bob" Sanford and Lloyd Stevens. Later years brought a succession of owners from the Sanford family. Bob's brother, Norman Sanford, was a co-owner with Bob from the mid-40's to mid-50's. Wayne Sanford (son of Bob) and David Sanford (son of Norman) owned S & S from 1974 to 2004.
In November of 2004, Wayne's son, Brent Sanford, became the third generation owner of S & S Motors. S & S is one of the oldest continuous businesses in Watford City, North Dakota.
S & S has always been known for honesty and fair dealing as well as having a high quality shop. S & S has always viewed each customer as a potential lifetime customer. We will continue to stand by our word and take care of you and your family's vehicle needs into the next generation. |
